About Bulgari brand
Bulgari, the iconic Italian jewelry brand, owes its origins to a Greek silversmith named Sotirio
Boulgaris, who later adopted the Italianized version of his name. Born in the mid-19th century,
Sotirio came from a family renowned for their silver craftsmanship. He made his way to Rome in
the early 1880s, where he opened his first shop in 1884. There he sold intricate silverwork,
antiques, and unique jewelry pieces.
By 1905, Bulgari shifted its focus primarily to jewelry, marking a significant turning point with
the opening of the store at 10 via Condotti, near the Spanish Steps. This shop remains the brand’s
flagship location and symbolizes its rich heritage. Sotirio’s sons, Costantino and Giorgio, soon
joined the family business. Costantino, an academic, authored a key work on Italian
silversmithing, while Giorgio acquired gemstones and worked on Bulgari's innovative designs.
After Sotirio passed away in the early 1930s, his sons took over the business, and Giorgio's three
sons soon joined them. The 1960s marked the emergence of Bulgari's signature style, known for
its architectural designs and vibrant, cabochon-cut stones. It was the time when Bulgari jewelry
started its global expansion.
The 1980s were dominated by the distinctive Bulgari aesthetic. In 2011, the brand became part
of the LVMH group. Bulgari has expanded its offerings to include other luxury products such as
fragrances, leather goods, and accessories, further establishing itself as a multifaceted luxury
brand.
About Estate Jewelry
When it comes to buying high-quality, unique pieces at a reasonable price, estate jewelry is hard
to beat. Whether you're a fan of classic designs or something truly one-of-a-kind, estate jewelry
offers a world of styles influenced by history and craftsmanship.
Shopping for jewelry online can feel overwhelming. With today's designs becoming increasingly
generic and prices soaring, finding something special can be a challenge. That's where estate
jewelry comes in. By choosing estate pieces, you can own a high-quality item at a much more
accessible price.
Quality Over Quantity
Estate jewelry hails from a time when pieces were lovingly handcrafted, not mass-produced.
Back then, there were fewer jewelers, and they took great pride in their work, focusing on quality
rather than speed. Unlike today's fast fashion, the slower pace of the past allowed for the creation
of truly exceptional pieces.
Fair Prices, No Overpricing
Designer jewelry often comes with a hefty price tag, not just for the piece itself but for the brand
name and its marketing. Estate jewelry, on the other hand, is priced differently — based more on
what the seller paid for it. For instance, a pre-owned Bulgari ring might be significantly less
expensive than a brand-new one. You might be pleasantly surprised if you compare prices at
your local jewelry store!
Timeless Value
Pre-owned jewelry tends to retain its value and can even become more unique and desirable over
time. Think of it like buying a vintage car that grows in value, as opposed to a new car that loses
value the moment you drive it off the lot.
At the Nadine Krakov Collection, we have a passion for all things beautiful. Our estate jewelry is
carefully selected and maintained in excellent condition, preserving the rich history and timeless
styles of the past so that you can enjoy them to the fullest.

A Bulgari bracelet crafted in 18k yellow gold, featuring diamonds.
This diamond gold bracelet features a sought-after geometric pattern that alternates between solid gold links and pavé-set diamond segments. The repeating chevron motif gives it a rhythm and structure, while the rounded edges soften the look. The diamonds are arranged in a honeycomb layout to complement the angular gold forms. The inside of this Bulgari bracelet reveals open lattice detailing, echoing the outer motifs. This sculptural piece is very much in line with Bulgari’s signature approach to modern classicism.
