    About the Brand:

Angela Cummings is recognized as one of the foremost fine jewelry designers of our time. Throughout her illustrious career, Angela’s jewelry has reflected the beauty she finds in both nature and the three-dimensional art of sculpture.

Born in Austria, Ms. Cummings grew up outside Washington, D.C. then returned to Europe to study painting in Perugia, Italy at the Accademia di Belle Arti and for advanced studies including a degree as a gemologist, goldsmith and designer from Staatliche Zeichenakademie in Hanau, Germany.

Arriving back to the United States, she was hired as an in-house designer by Tiffany & Co. In 1974 the Brand Angela Cummings Exclusively for Tiffany & Co. was created. Cummings became famous for her inlaid designs featuring semi-precious stones such as black jade, mother of pearl, coral and lapis lazuli, creating the perfect combination of ancient craftsmanship and contemporary design.

During her tenure at Tiffany & Co., Cummings created several iconic collections that became synonymous with the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and timeless elegance. One of her most famous collections was the “Nature Series,” inspired by the organic forms found in nature. This collection featured intricate designs inspired by leaves, branches, and other natural elements, rendered in precious metals and gemstones.

Throughout her career, Cummings received numerous awards and accolades for her contributions to the world of jewelry design. Her work continues to be highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts, and her pieces are often considered timeless classics.

Although Cummings left Tiffany & Co. in the 1980s to focus on her own eponymous brand, her legacy lives on through her iconic designs and continued influence on the world of jewelry design. Today, Angela Cummings remains a celebrated figure in the world of luxury jewelry, admired for her creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication to excellence.
