Carvin French brand was born from the friendship of André Chervin and Serge Carponcy, who both moved to the U.S. after completing their jeweler apprenticeships in France. The brand’s name comes from an anagram, combining the first three letters of “Carponcy” and the last three letters of “Chervin.”
At the time, traditional French jewelry techniques and enameling skills were rare in America. Before long, the duo was creating pieces for some of the most prestigious houses, including Verdura, Harry Winston, and Bulgari. Their expertise earned them the nickname “The Jeweler’s Jeweler.” In later years, Carvin French gained recognition for the designs produced under its own name.
The brand’s style blends French refinement with the bold, opulent energy of American jewelry. Playful and imaginative, their work often features pink diamonds, intricate enamel details, and animal motifs. Combined with top-tier craftsmanship, these elements have made Carvin French a favorite among collectors who appreciate both artistry and innovation.
