Vacheron & Constantin, the world’s oldest watchmaker, earned an impeccable reputation for its high-quality standards, classic design and great understanding of the customers’ needs. The brand is included in the “Holy Trinity” of watchmakers, along with Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet.
Established in 1775, the brand adopted mass production techniques in 1932. To be able to handle a new volume of operation, the Maison partnered with Jaeger-LeCoultre. That allowed Vacheron & Constantin to produce interchangeable parts and shift to a modern, unified way of watchmaking. But limited production numbers are still a cornerstone of the brand’s philosophy “One of not many.”
The foundation of the brand’s standards has been rooted in Geneva, the ultimate place for the finest watchmaking. Each piece is crafted meticulously and individually, to provide an uncompromising quality of the Vacheron timepieces.
As to Vacheron & Constantin watch design, it’s always tasteful and never ostentatious. The brand is confident about their pieces and has no need to be loud.
