A Bulgari Monete necklace crafted in 18k rose gold, featuring an ancient silver Greek Tetradrachm set in a gold bezel and suspended from a rose gold chain. The coin’s obverse depicts a portrait of Dionysus, while the reverse depicts full-length Hercules holding a club and lion skin. The gold bezel is inscribed “Aeolis Thasos 2nd cent. B.C.,” referring to two ancient Greek regions: Thasos, an island in the northern Aegean associated with Thrace, and Aeolis, a region in western Asia Minor, in present-day Turkey.
