Vintage 1978 Egyptian Revival 18k Gold Signet Ring

18k yellow gold figural signet ring, dated 1978, designed with a broad oval face and a raised central motif. The face features two monkey figures flanking a rounded central form, giving the ring an ancient revival or figural signet appearance. The ring has a substantial tapered shank and a solid feel, weighing 39.5 grams. Due to the weight of the ring, an inner sizing or stability band has been added to help the ring sit more securely on the finger.

The interior is engraved “Roberto D. Lopez 1978,” which may refer to the original owner, or maker. The gold has been tested as 18k. The ring is a size 7.5-8, the inner stability piece allows flexibility in size. The face measures 1 inch in length by 5/6 inch in width.
