Van Cleef & Arpels Set 18k Gold Diamond Interchangeable Gemstone Bead Necklaces

This vintage Van Cleef & Arpels set features three interchangeable beaded necklaces anchored by an 18k yellow gold and diamond clasp in a braided motif. The clasp, weighing 15.4 grams, is set with round brilliant-cut diamonds and serves as the central connector for the three distinct strands.

The white strand is made of braided seed pearls and measures 14 3/4 inches in total length when connected. It weighs 48.4 grams. The green strand is composed of braided chrysoprase gemstone beads, measuring 15 1/2 inches long with a weight of 44.7 grams. The third strand features hematite beads in a loose flowing design, totaling 18 inches in length and weighing 74.2 grams. The weight of the strands listed above are without the anchoring piece. All of the lengths listed above are when they are connected with the anchor piece. The total weight of all of the pieces is 182.7 grams.
