A vintage 14k gold pendant in the form of a Zuni style fetish bear, with mosaic inlay across the front. The inlay combines opal, purple sugilite-type stone, apple green stone, cut into angular sections and set flush with the gold border.
In Zuni and Puebloan tradition the bear stands for healing, protection and strength. The reverse is smooth polished gold, marked 14k. This piece works well for anyone collecting Native American-style inlay jewelry, bear fetish pendants, or multi-stone gold jewelry with a handmade look.
It measures 1" x 1 1/8" including the bail and weighs 6.8 grams.
